Recently I got interested in the Irish Wacky packs test pack which was distributed in 1981. It is not clear that these were ever issued in Ireland because the initial finds were made in Brooklyn, NY. Greg Grant has an interesting write up about the initial finds (click the picture below to go to Greg's great Wacky site):
In emailing with Greg, he was estimating that there were fewer than 10 unopened packs remaining.
However, 36 more packs just showed up at the REA auction at the end of 2021
(by now, you should know what to click on to go to the auction listing!)
In any case, this is still a very scarce pack!
Does anybody know where the new packs were found?
