Hello all, my name is Nate, from the sunny and beautiful confines of Northern California. I collected non sports and sports cards as a kid, mostly Return of the Jedi, Dukes of Hazard and Topps baseball and football. My favorite non sport set was the 1962 Civil War news cards my dad saved from when he was a teen, but my true love was Star Wars. I remember he had a pack of Combat he kept in his desk drawer that he would never let me open. I thought it was odd that he never opened it but I found out much later the beauty of a legit unopened pack.
Unlike modern cards where the printing presses never stop, there was a lower amount of unopened 60s and 70s packs, and more are opened every year. We are doing everyone a service by preserving these packs in their original state, so future generations can enjoy them and their history.
I started collecting unopened baseball and football a decade ago, but have moved over to the Non Sport train earlier this year and I love it. Seeing a new Star Wars or Masters of the Universe pack reminds me of my childhood and all the cool movies and cartoons I watched. I never wanted to fully grow up so holding on to my childhood through unopened packs is a joy I hope to share with all of you pack enthusiasts.
I am always on the lookout for 60s to late 80s sci-fi or pop culture movies, tv shows and video game packs. Still need a 1962 Topps Mars Attacks and 1967 Leaf Star Trek pack for my collection 😁. anks for reading!
