There is a Davy Crockett pack on eBay currently and here is the description given by the seller:
"1956 Topps Davy Crockett unopened wax pack. Sent to PSA but they wouldn't slab it because the gum was broken. Pack is legit and unopened with 3 of 4 corner splits from the loose gum.
Super rare pack."
I've never heard this before. Is PSA rejecting broken gum or is this just an excuse?
I did a google reverse image search with the picture of the psa flip and it returned nothing. I also searched the cert number 63282660 and it returned nothing.
I do remember hearing at one time packs with loose or broken gum would be rejected. The thing that worries me about that pack is the gum appears to be melted inside the wrapper. Pack should have gotten rejected just because it looks gross and torn up. Not a fan of anything about this listing.
