Just sent off 10 packs to PSA for grading. Luckily got them in before the price increase. Both wrapper versions of GPK series 1 plus Max Headroom were included. Will post pics and results when they return.

Got a notice that the pack was shipped back today.
18 days from start to finish.
Pleasantly surprised!
What pack is it?
They're moving fast with my prime pack! It's up to QA check 2 already. All the others are just sitting on a shelf somewhere. Hopefully it should ship soon.
It looks as though the premium priced levels are expedited significantly... Economy will sit in "Research & ID" for months I think...
One of my second group of packs was at the Prime level and that is through grading and at the assembly level as of today (14 days since arrival). All my other submissions are still at the Research & ID level. I guess Prime level pays!
I checked my PSA account and my second group of packs (received 4 days ago) are already in the Research & ID phase!
Wow! Much faster than expected!
Jon is completely correct. PSA is still accepting packs for grading. I submitted two more that were received today. I'll keep you guys updated as to the timing as they move through the process.
PSA update - my packs were received by PSA on 3/30 and I got notified today that they are now at the Research & ID stage. About a month and a half for me!
Just an update on PSA processing. My packs were received Feb 26 and just made it into research and ID yesterday. So right around 2 1/2 months to get past the first stage.
...knowledge
To the best of my knowledg, this announcement only impacts cards, not packs.
Interesting update:
PSA is temporarily suspending grading Value, Regular and Express service levels until about July 1, 2021 due to what they are calling a "surge in submissions"
Well, you guys have convinced me. Yesterday I submitted a few packs for grading. I mailed them UPS insured and they should arrive at PSA next week. I will try to remember to update this thread when I get them back so you can judge the times involved!
Yes, I think it helps the non-sport pack community for the reasons mentioned. If you do submit, it can take 9-12 months these days to get your packs graded. Sometimes you get lucky and get them back in 6-9 months.
Even though they raised prices, the fact that they removed the date restrictions seems to help out the non sport community. Plenty of packs dated 1960 to 1972 are valued at less than $999. This has the effect of lowering prices on them from $75 to $50. What do you guys think?
Old prices (December 2020)
New prices (current)
