I do agree it’s a weird time to list that pack. Looming recession, holidays, etc…but I think at least two people posting on this thread would pay $18,000 right now for that pack if it were offered.
If this has never sold at auction before my best guess would be in excess of $100000. It's too rare of a pack and people love unopened vintage packs. I know sport pack collectors who need that in their hot hands.
NonSportDude24, I completely agree with you. I thought this would go much higher.
Somebody got a bargain!
Much lower than I thought it would go, with buyers premium. $66,599.
I just checked and its over 41K and shooting up like a rocket!
My question:
Which one of you guys can afford this?!
(I was going to punctuate this with a GIF and found that a guy named Justin Gammon has animated some of the Mars Attacks cards! Well Done Justin!)
$39,442 already with over 20 days to go.
Well, my bid has already been surpassed! lol
Ummm, there is sales tax too!
It says right there on the front of the pack it's only 5 cents.
They are also guessing over at the Vintage Non-Sports card site!

I’m going only $18,000. I don’t think it will go that high.

I'm going higher than that, Dude! I think that this is notorious enough that it will attract the Sports guys. I think it will go to $150,000!
I'm really interested to see what else was discovered in this "find".
Quote from the auction:
"Even more impressive is that it is fresh to the hobby, unearthed from a Northeast/tri-state area shoebox find this past summer"
